[Resolved] Network Outage: Multiple St Lucia Buildings Offline Due to Power Loss

Due to an unplanned power outage in St Lucia, the following buildings have lost power, resulting in a loss of both wired and wireless network services: Buildings 2, 32, 1, 24, 3, 23, 20, 31B, 31A, and 38. A total of 149 network switches are currently offline.

Resolution Power has now been restored to all the buildings, and both wired and wireless network services are operational. (14:51 AEST — Feb 12)

Work Details

Please ensure all work is saved and computers are shutdown prior to the power outages. Please avoid opening and closing fridge & freezer doors that are not connected to the temporary power during this time to avoid temperature changes. Data & Comms will be impacted during this time.

Project details

These works are to replace the aged, end of life Main switchboard. By undertaking critical modernisation of this infrastructure, P&F Infrastructure mitigates the risk of a potential unplanned and extended outages affecting operations in the future.
