[Scheduled] Emergency Outage Required for Jira Cloud Migration Preparation

An emergency outage is required for some critical Jira Cloud migration preparation activities prior to this evenings attachment migration. Some underlying Jira databases changes need to be performed before the Cloud Migration commences.

Resolution The managed upgrade of the UQ Extend service to the ‘Teak’ Open EdX platform version was successful. (17:45 AEST — Dec 11)

We have had to move this forward 24 hours. In preparation for the cloud service migration for Jira we need to take an offline backup of the Jira environment.
