Although the issue was resolved and the data was re-run to rebuild and distribute as normal, the process unfortunately ran longer than expected and overlapped with the next scheduled data load. This meant some key attributes did not align correctly.
Hi all,

Due to a Workday error and the way data is extracted to the integration platform Datahub, there was a delay in HR data availability on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Although the issue was resolved and the data was re-run to rebuild and distribute as normal, the process unfortunately ran longer than expected and overlapped with the next scheduled data load. This meant some key attributes did not align correctly.

This was resolved on Wednesday, 11 March, and the data rebuild is currently underway with no further issues expected. However, until this process completes, the data view will not yet be refreshed.

UQ Integrations are aware of the impacts and have taken precautionary measures to temporarily disable feeds to PrISM, Unitask and Si-Pass. To clarify, these systems still have data available, but it reflects a previous point in time and is therefore not fully up to date.

For most staff with no recent changes this should not cause major issues. However, we are aware that some staff are experiencing problems accessing buildings or systems, and resolving this is our highest priority.

We kindly ask IT Services, technical owners, and HR business contacts to work with us in directing any impacted staff to the appropriate teams for temporary assistance. Your support in helping manage enquiries and reassure staff while we resolve this is greatly appreciated.

At this stage, we expect the issue to be resolved by 1:00 PM today, Thursday 12 March 2026.

We apologise for the inconvenience. A full review of the original source error will be conducted once this is resolved and services return to normal.

Update Hi all,

Please be advised that this issue is now resolved. All previously disabled integrations have been re-enabled, and all consumers will have refreshed data available according to their next scheduled run.

We will continue to closely monitor data feeds to ensure no further issues arise. This Service Event will now be marked as resolved to communicate this to downstream stakeholders. An incident report has been raised and will be reviewed with the ITS Change Advisory Board as part of IT Incident Management procedures, pending further investigation into the root cause with Workday and OneModel.

Any opportunities to prevent this issue in the future will be investigated and implemented where appropriate. Key learnings will also be shared with relevant stakeholders to help improve service reliability.

Thank you,

UQ Integration Services Team. (13:51 AEST — Mar 12)

Resolution Hi all,

Please be advised that this issue is now resolved. As part of the MyTime@UQ Program / Aurion Connector Project 1, changes were applied to Workday IDs in the Workday production environment. Due to the way Workday data is extracted and made available to the DataHub, an unforeseen issue occurred, resulting in records not consistently reflecting the updated Workday ID values.
Hi all,

We are currently experiencing an unexpected issue affecting all downstream consumers reliant on HCM data from the UQ Integration Platform (DataHub) and Central Integration Platform (CIP).

Consequently, downstream systems have received a mix of both old and new Workday ID values, leading to data misalignment.

To prevent further propagation of incorrect data, Integration Services have disabled the relevant jobs. However, this means that downstream systems are now working with stale and inconsistent data. While changes have been made in the integration platform to address the issue, the inconsistency originates from Workday data extraction itself. Re-mapping the affected data entirely is not feasible. Therefore, a full data reload and validation process will be required before downstream data feeds can be re-enabled.

Next Steps

We are working closely with all impacted stakeholders to mitigate business disruption and support data requirements during this period. This issue is being treated as a critical incident, and we are engaging with the relevant vendor to resolve it as quickly as possible.

At this stage, we do not have a confirmed resolution timeframe. However, we are prioritising the delivery of temporary data solutions to support business continuity until a full reload can be successfully completed.

Actions

Please assist by sharing this communication with relevant business areas.

If you have immediate data requirements or concerns, contact the Integration Services team directly.

We appreciate your patience and support while we work to resolve this issue. A further update will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

Kind regards,

Ty Wright A/ Senior Manager: Integrations & Analytics Data Services Information Technology Services The University of Queensland St Lucia Campus Brisbane QLD 4072 Australia E: ty.wright@uq.edu.au

Update Hi all,

Thank you once again for your continued patience during this time.

The Data Services team has been actively working to implement temporary processes alongside critical systems and has further engaged with downstream consumers impacted by the service unavailability.

We are currently collaborating with PrISM and SiPass to ensure account creation and continued access for new hires, as well as employees whose terminations were rescinded; those who would not have been included in the now stale data feeds from Thursday, 25 September 2025, before the downstream feeds were disabled on Friday, 26 September 2025.

This service unavailability is being managed in line with our IT Incident Management Procedure. Given the scope of impact on other systems and the current academic calendar, we are prioritising all consumers but have assessed non-critical processes as medium to low risk. Other impacted services are either following additional processes to ensure continued access and permissions or implementing workarounds to minimise disruption to business operations. We acknowledge that this still affects consumers in terms of staff data not being updated, but critical processes remain the primary focus as outlined above.

We appreciate your cooperation with the temporary measures to reduce disruptions and encourage you to raise any concerns you may have.

Resolution Timeline and Action Plan:

We understand the impact on staff records and have prioritised critical account provisioning and access. We anticipate that the reload, along with additional validation and processing to integrate the data back into the UQ Datahub, will be completed by Sunday, 5 October 2025. Given the public holiday in Queensland on Monday, we expect the data to be fully restored for all impacted consumers by Tuesday, 7 October 2025.

Rest assured, we will carefully validate the data to ensure a seamless transition once it is restored. If you have concerns beyond what we can reasonably anticipate, we encourage you to engage directly with the Integration Services team before this time.

Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation.
