UQs support vendor for UQ Extend, Crystal Delta, will be conducting a planned upgrade of UQ Extends AWS EKS Cluster from v1.32 to v1.33. Additionally, some environment re-sizing will be taking place to optimise infrastructure costs.

This upgrade and environment re-sizing will ensure that the UQ Extend platform remains secure, well supported, and aligned with the Open edX project roadmap, while optimising costs, improving performance, user experience, and long-term operational stability.

UQs support vendor for UQ Extend, Crystal Delta, will be conducting a major upgrade of UQs Open edX platform from our current release (Olive) to the latest currently supported Open edX release, Teak.

This upgrade will ensure that the UQ Extend platform remains secure, well supported, and aligned with the Open edX project roadmap, while improving performance, user experience, and long-term operational stability.

Resolution The managed upgrade of the UQ Extend service to the ‘Teak’ Open EdX platform version was successful. (23:30 AEST — Dec 13)
