Due to the way Workday data is extracted and made available to the DataHub, an unforeseen issue occurred, resulting in records not consistently reflecting the updated Workday ID values. Consequently, downstream systems have received a mix of both old and new Workday ID values, leading to data misalignment.</p> <p>To prevent further propagation of incorrect data, Integration Services have disabled the relevant jobs. However, this means that downstream systems are now working with stale and inconsistent data. While changes have been made in the integration platform to address the issue, the inconsistency originates from Workday data extraction itself. Re-mapping the affected data entirely is not feasible. Therefore, a full data reload and validation process will be required before downstream data feeds can be re-enabled.</p> <p>Next Steps</p> <p>We are working closely with all impacted stakeholders to mitigate business disruption and support data requirements during this period. This issue is being treated as a critical incident, and we are engaging with the relevant vendor to resolve it as quickly as possible.</p> <p>At this stage, we do not have a confirmed resolution timeframe. Alternate restoration plans were made, whereby TPG Fibre Crews would return today to haul new fibre and resplice the services to achieve full restoration. Haulers are currently onsite and removing the damaged cable.
