As part of Blackboards ongoing platform modernisation, the SCORM Engine that supports the delivery of SCORM content within UQs Blackboard (Learn.UQ) and Essentials.Learn environments will be upgraded from version 23 to version 24.
This upgrade ensures UQs existing SCORM packages continue to work as expected without requiring them to be republished or reconfigured, while providing a foundation for ongoing maintenance, security updates, and future enhancements.
There will be no downtime for UQs Blackboard environments, and all other teaching and learning functionality will continue to operate as expected.
Resolution The vendor has postponed the SCORM engine upgrade for the Learn.UQ and Essentials.Learn environments. This upgrade will be scheduled at a later date. (11:15 AEST — Sep 3)
