On Sunday the 11th of October 2026, a firewall will be replaced in the Prentice Data Centre.
There is an expectation that communication with the data centre will be disrupted for a period of 10 minutes when the physical devices are cut over.
As a consequence, there is potential for all centrally managed SQL Server databases to become unavailable.
Single instance databases in Prentice will certainly be impacted including Raisers Edge and TeamCenter.
Clustered database services are also vulnerable to impact depending on the location of the availability group during the outage and the location of the application tier that is connecting. This includes Passwordstate, Papercut, PSY_titanium and PFI CAMS.
