[Scheduled] Firewall Cut-over Impact to MySQL Databases: NGDC (PRN)

MySQL Database Hosting Services NGDC

Scheduled for 2026-10-11 07:00:00 - 2026-10-11 15:00:00

On Sunday the 11th of October 2026, a firewall will be replaced in the Prentice Data Centre.

There is an expectation that communication with the data centre will be disrupted for a period of 10 minutes when the physical devices are cut over.

As a consequence, there is potential for some centrally managed MySQL databases to become unavailable. As the service is load balanced it is expected that this is less likely, but services with application services in the Prentice data centre will likely be impacted.
